Our Story
Ochil Hills Management was founded by Matthew and Kylie Kaiser — a husband-wife team of operator-executives who saw the same pattern in every growing business they worked with: the gap between financial strategy and operational execution is where growth plans die.
Most fractional firms provide one executive function. A CFO handles finance. A COO handles operations. When those two roles are separated — different people, different firms, different frameworks — the disconnect between strategy and execution creates the exact failure mode that growing businesses cannot afford.

Matt is an Army veteran with an MS in Aerospace Engineering and a background managing a $100 million defense portfolio at Aerojet Rocketdyne. He is trained to allocate capital under constraints, model complex systems, and make decisions with incomplete information — which is exactly what running a business's finances requires.
Matt is not a CPA — and that's intentional. CPAs are trained to minimize taxes and report the past. Matt is trained to build the financial architecture that tells you where your capital goes, when to hire, and how to scale without running out of runway. He brings Army-veteran precision, aerospace engineering rigor, and a track record of capital allocation at a scale well beyond what most SMBs will ever reach.
He builds the financial models, deploys the BI infrastructure, and owns the forward-looking strategy that drives every decision.

Kylie is an Army veteran and former Apache helicopter pilot who has led organizations of over 500 people and guided a digital marketing agency from startup to multi-million-dollar revenue. She brings the same mission-critical discipline from the cockpit to the boardroom — hiring sequencing, process design, team structure, delivery scalability, and the culture-building that holds it all together.
She doesn't tell you what to build. She builds it with you. When your organization is growing faster than your systems can handle, when delivery is inconsistent and the hiring plan doesn't connect to the financial plan — that's a COO-level problem. And Kylie has solved it at a scale most SMBs will never reach.
She designs the operational architecture, implements the systems, and builds the organizational infrastructure your business needs to scale.
